“Baker” was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest area of the United States. Beginning from the tender age of 2, Baker had always been most at home behind a drum kit.
Immersing himself in many styles of music, it was in Baker’s teen years that his dive into a multitude of genres began with a scope of play that ranged from R&B, Funk, Blues, all the way through to Classic Rock, Hip Hop and his favorite, Pop Punk.
Baker having a very versatile background in various music, this led him to co-forming a local power pop band “West on 18”, who’s hard hitting rhythms, professional stage performances, and catchy vocals afforded them the opportunity to share stages with bands like “Hawthorne Heights” and “The Atari’s”.
Baker’s next venture saw him teaming up with his father, known by his stage name “Rocky Vasalino”, to come and showcase his talents on the casino circuit. The Show was a Vegas style act that toured internationally in the 1980’s throughout Canada, and reformed in the early 2000’s, which allowed Baker to obtain valuable insight into the discipline and showmanship needed to perform at the top level.
Baker’s next chapter of his journey saw him join up with regional country star Sammy Steele, playing rodeos, fairs, festivals all over the Pacific Northwest areas of the USA.
In the years to come, Baker began working on his own original music, refining his wild playing style, and pursuing more in the live local music scene.
Baker brings to the live shows his passion, skills and showmanship allowing him to bring an eye catching performance, each and every time he takes to the stage!
